Oud Du Jour, created in 2016 by perfumer Claude Dir, offers a fresh, woody take on the traditional oud fragrance family. It opens with Persian saffron, pink pepper and wild raspberry for a bright, slightly spicy start, moving into a heart of olibanum, rose absolute, prune and lily of the valley for a soft, fruity-floral layer. The base grounds the composition in Indonesian oud, black amber, patchouli and guaiac wood, delivering a refined woody finish that feels lighter and more daytime-friendly than typical oud scents.
